Our Florist’s Story
Juniper Blumes blossomed out of a flower shop by
another name, Flora Bora Blooms.
Started by local florist Shanysa during
the height of the covid pandemic,
she has spent the last 4 years bringing
beautiful blooms to Kimberley, BC
as a self-taught floral designer
entrepreneur, and mother.
With an eye for incorporating the wild of our
mountain town into the floral arrangements,
Shanysa and her team create unique bouquets that
are specially curated for each recipient
and no two are ever the same.
We are an eco-conscious design studio
currently located in Healing Hollow in Kimberley’s
Platzl and committed to limiting waste
where ever possible using recycled materials, ethical
foraging, and very minimal plastic.
We care deeply about the community of
Kimberley and we are always looking for ways to get
involved and show love to our town <3

We offer fresh flowers year round in Kimberley,
which means bringing in seasonal product from the
lower mainland during the winter months.
Our unique selection rotates weekly and we strive
to provide the freshest flowers that we can for our
customers.
During the warmer months we grow some of our
own flowers and work with Kootenay farms to
keepthings as local as possible.
We dry everything that does not sell so that
nothing ever goes to waste <3
